Would you like to lead a dedicated team and optimise our purchasing processes? Then we are looking for you as a Purchasing Department Manager (m/f/d)! You will lead your team, ensure qualification and ensure smooth procurement. You will increase efficiency and save costs through active supplier management and clever strategies. Your tasks
- Further development, standardisation and optimisation of processes, incl. documentation
- Continuous optimisation with regard to costs, quality and delivery times
- Supplier management incl. strategy development, market analysis and risk management
- Negotiating and implementing contracts and realising potential savings
- Supervision of trainees and interns
- Ensuring data maintenance and checking purchasing documents
- Implementation and further development of the QM system and preparation of key figures
- Managing or participating in purchasing and cross-departmental projects
- Leading escalation management with external suppliers
Your profile
- Successfully completed business or technical studies or comparable training
- Several years of professional and management experience in a comparable position
- Sound knowledge of contract law and contract drafting
- Strong negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Good knowledge of MS Office and an ERP system, preferably abas
- Very good knowledge of English
- Good process and methodological skills
- Pragmatic and analytical way of working
