Our location

Mehrer is based in Balingen in the Zollernalb district and has been rooted in the region for over 135 years. From here, we develop and manufacture piston and diaphragm compressors for industrial applications worldwide.

Balingen is located on the edge of the Swabian Alb in Baden-Württemberg and offers good connections to Stuttgart, Tübingen, and Reutlingen.

Our employees come from the Zollernalb district and surrounding regions. What matters to us are qualifications, experience, and the willingness to take on responsibility.

2. Initial introductory meeting

If your profile matches the position, we will invite you to a face-to-face or digital interview. This will give us the opportunity to get to know each other professionally and personally and discuss the position and your expectations.

3. Further discussion

If the initial meeting is positive, a further meeting will follow. We will clarify any outstanding questions, explore specialist topics in greater depth and discuss the framework conditions for a possible collaboration.

4. Decision and contract offer

Once the discussions have been concluded, you will receive prompt feedback. If there is mutual interest, we will submit a contract offer and discuss the next steps.

What does the onboarding process look like at Mehrer?

A structured onboarding process is especially important to us. Your start at Mehrer begins with an onboarding program where you'll get to know the company, your responsibilities, and your contacts.

You'll receive an individualized training plan for your position. In addition, a mentor from the team will support you during your first few weeks, answering your questions and assisting you with your daily work.

How flexible are working hours and mobile working?

At Mehrer, you work on a flextime model, which allows you to flexibly structure your workday. Core working hours are intentionally kept short, so you can largely plan your own start and end times.

Overtime can be easily compensated with time off in lieu. Depending on your role, remote working is also possible.
