On 26 September 2024, it was time again: four dedicated Mehrer employees laced up their running shoes for the AOK company run in Balingen to master the 5.6 kilometres (twice 2.8 km) with flying colours. Despite heavy rain, they gave it their all and didn't let the weather slow them down.

The starting signal was given at 6 p.m. on the market square, and from then on, full commitment was the order of the day. Even though the conditions were not ideal, it once again showed what makes us strong at Mehrer: team spirit and cohesion. Some colleagues came along to cheer us on and created a great atmosphere - a real motivational boost for our runners!

Events like this are more than just sporting challenges for us. They strengthen our team spirit and show that we can face any challenge together - whether on the course or in our day-to-day work. The AOK company run was a great opportunity to meet up outside the office, be active together and celebrate our team spirit. Even though it rained, it didn't dampen our spirits. On the contrary, it showed that we stick together as a team, no matter what the conditions.

We are proud of our team's performance and are already looking forward to competing again next year. Because at Mehrer, we don't just go ‘full steam ahead’ on the job, but also on the running track - whatever the weather!
