In July 2024, the JSG Cooperation Day was once again held at Mehrer. We welcomed the talented B-youth players from JSG Balingen-Weilstetten to the company. This event always offers an exciting opportunity to combine young talent and career prospects.

After an informative company presentation and an interesting tour of the various production areas, the ‘Mehrer Challenge’ began for the youngsters. This challenge tested their skills in various disciplines and encouraged both fun and team spirit.

The tasks included a tricky crossword puzzle that tested their knowledge of the company, as well as games of skill that required co-operation and precision. The evening was an impressive illustration of how sporting ambition and professional challenges can complement each other.

The collaboration with JSG Balingen-Weilstetten showed the potential that lies in combining sport and work. We are already looking forward to the next exchange and will be welcoming the A-Youth to a job application training programme at Mehrer in September.
