At Mehrer, we not only care about the success of our technologies, but also about the well-being of the people in our region. Especially during the Advent season, we want to set an example and give joy to those who need it most. This year, we donated 150 chocolate Advent calendars to bring a bit of pre-Christmas magic to children.

Some of the Advent calendars were donated to the ‘ZoKli Kinderhelden - Förderverein für die Kinder- & Jugendmedizin im Zollernalb Klinikum e. V.’ association. The calendars are intended to bring a smile to the faces of the young patients of the paediatric clinic who have to spend the Advent season in hospital. With this small gesture, we want to give the children and their families some normality and joy during an often challenging time.

The remaining calendars went to the Kinderschutzbund Orts- und Kreisverband Balingen e. V., an organisation that is highly committed to helping children and families in difficult life situations. It is impressive to see how hard this organisation works every day to protect children and improve their living conditions. We are proud to be able to support this important work.

As a company that is firmly rooted in the region, it is important to us to fulfil our social responsibility and make a contribution to the community. ‘With small gestures like this, we want to give joy and show that we as a company also take on social responsibility,’ explains Julia Schöller, Marketing Manager at Mehrer.

Advent is a special time of togetherness and charity. With our donation, we want to pass on some of these values and help children in our region to feel the magic of the pre-Christmas period. Because it's often the little things that make a big difference.
