What awaits you in the Dual Study Program
The Dual Sudy Program in Business Administration with a focus on Industry, You will explore key business and industrial topics, including:
- Management and oversight of core industrial areas such as production, controlling, logistics, procurement, and human resources
- Digital and international aspects of business administration, such as the digitalization of business processes, global value chains, and international management
During the practical phases, You will rotate through the following study‑relevant departments, among others:
Purchasing – You gain insights into supplier management, price negotiations, and the cost‑efficient procurement of materials and services
Operations – You gain insights into the planning, control, and optimization of industrial processes along the value chain
Sales – You support quotation calculations, customer support, and the implementation of sales strategies in an industrial environment
Financial Accounting and Controlling – You work with figures, analyze cost structures, and support evaluations and financial statements
Aftersales – You gain insights into service processes, spare parts management, and long-term customer support after the sale
From the second semester onwards, You will work on projects and be deployed in the various departments. There You will familiarise Yourself with the project-specific content.
**Your profile
You have a general or subject‑specific higher education entrance qualification and demonstrate strong performance in mathematics, German, and business‑related subjects. Economic interrelationships and operational processes in industrial companies are of particular interest to You – ranging from purchasing, logistics, and controlling to marketing and human resources. You think analytically, work in a structured and reliable manner, and feel comfortable both working in a team and handling independent tasks. With Your willingness to learn and motivation to apply theoretical knowledge directly in practice, You bring ideal qualifications for the Dual Study Program in Business Administration (BWL) with a specialization in Industry at Mehrer.
Note: You can also start a Dual Study Program with a university of applied sciences entrance qualification if you successfully pass the Delta exam.
