What awaits You in the Dual Study Program
In the Industrial Engineering Program with a focus on Product and Process Management, You combine technical understanding with business management know‑how. You will work on exciting topics such as:
- Optimization and design of processes
- Development and management of product portfolios
- Technical and economic evaluation of workflows
During the first practical phase of Your Dual Study Program, You will get to know key areas of the Mehrer company and gain valuable experience:
- At the start, You’ll gain valuable insights into technical fundamentals in the training workshop and learn how to use tools and machines in practice
- In the operations department, You’ll gain insights into production planning, assembly, and other related areas, and learn how value creation is organized and managed in the company’s day-to-day operations
- Finally, in sales, as a future Industrial Engineer (m/f/d), you’ll be involved in international customer projects and learn how to present technical solutions professionally
Starting in the second semester, as a future Industrial Engineer (m/f/d), You will take on your own projects and actively participate in various departments—always with the goal of making processes more efficient and strategically developing products.
**Your profile
You have a general or subject‑specific university entrance qualification and stand out with strong performance in mathematics, physics, engineering and business administration. You have a strong technical understanding, and spatial reasoning is one of Your strengths.
You enjoy analytical work, are reliable, and develop solutions with just as much commitment in a team as You do independently. Learning new things motivates You – and with your open manner and strong social skills, You‘re a great fit for Mehrer and for the Dual Study Program.
Note: You can also start a Dual Study Program with a university of applied sciences entrance qualification if You successfully pass the Delta exam.
