What awaits You in the dual study program
In the Industrial Engineering program with a focus on International Business and Management, You will combine economic and technical expertise with an international orientation. You will deal with topics such as:
- International Technical Sales
- Foreign trade
- International law
- Sales and distribution
During the first practical phase of Your dual study program, You will get to know key areas of the Mehrer company and gain valuable experience:
- At the start, You’ll gain valuable insights into technical fundamentals in the training workshop and learn how to use tools and machines in practice
- In the operations department, You’ll gain insights into production planning, assembly, and other related areas, and learn how value creation is organized and managed in the company’s day-to-day operations
- Finally, in sales, as a future industrial engineer (m/f/d), You’ll be involved in international customer projects and learn how to present technical solutions professionallylly
Starting in the second semester, You will take on your own projects and deepen your knowledge in the respective departments—always with an eye toward the connection between technology, business, and internationality.
Your profile
You have a general or subject-specific university entrance qualification and impress with good grades in mathematics, physics, technology, business administration, and English. Your interest in international markets and global contexts is just as strong as your technical understanding and spatial awareness.
You enjoy working analytically, are reliable, and are just as committed to developing solutions as part of a team as You are working independently. Learning new things motivates You—and with Your open manner and social skills, You are a perfect fit for Mehrer and the dual study program in International Business and Management.
Note: You can also start a Dual Study Program with a university of applied sciences entrance qualification if You successfully pass the Delta exam.
