What You can expect as a working student
As a working student in environmental management at Mehrer - or as part of Your bachelor’s thesis - You will actively contribute to practical and high-responsibility sustainability projects. In doing so, You will make a tangible contribution to the further development of our environmental management, particularly in the following areas:
- Assisting in the establishment and further development of our ISO 14001 environmental management system
- Analyzing environmental data and preparing analyses and reports to identify trends and recommend actions
- Preparing consumption overviews and waste inventories
- Supporting the development and implementation of environmental goals and programs to promote sustainability and resource efficiency
In addition, depending on the focus of Your work or bachelor’s thesis, You can contribute to the following areas:
- Establishing and further developing a structured waste management system
- Organizing training sessions and awareness-raising initiatives on environmental and sustainability topics
- Promoting environmental awareness within the company
Your profile
You are currently pursuing a degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability management, or a related field, and would like to gain practical experience in environmental and sustainability topics - whether through a work-study position or Your bachelor’s thesis in environmental management. Basic knowledge of environmental management, such as ISO 14001 or other environmental standards, is a bonus. If You enjoy working in a team, communicate confidently, and are committed to contributing to interdisciplinary projects, then Mehrer is the perfect fit for You.
