Successful climate protection means switching from fossil fuels to renewable energies. Hydrogen plays a central role in the sustainable reorganisation of the energy supply. As a versatile energy carrier, it can be used across all sectors - from clean mobility and efficient electricity and heat supply to the storage of fluctuating renewable energies, as a basis for alternative fuels and as a process gas in industry. Hydrogen offers the opportunity to significantly reduce CO2 emissions in energy, transport and industry and to slow down climate change.
For the research with green hydrogen, our customer chose a compact containerised system with the Mehrer TVD 900 compressor, which compresses the hydrogen from 1.015 bara to 30.5 bara. The integrated cooler, control cabinet, dryer and H₂ container facilitated the seamless integration of the system into the existing plant. We are proud to have played a key role in this pioneering hydrogen project.
