Successful climate protection means switching from fossil fuels to renewable energies. Hydrogen plays a central role in the sustainable reorganisation of the energy supply. As a versatile energy carrier, it can be used across all sectors - from clean mobility and efficient electricity and heat supply to the storage of fluctuating renewable energies, as a basis for alternative fuels and as a process gas in industry. Hydrogen offers the opportunity to significantly reduce CO(low:2) emissions in energy, transport and industry and to slow down climate change.
For the research with green hydrogen, our customer chose a compact containerised system with the Mehrer TVD 900 compressor, which compresses the hydrogen from 1.015 bara to 30.5 bara. The integrated cooler, control cabinet, dryer and H₂ container facilitated the seamless integration of the system into the existing plant. We are proud to have played a key role in this pioneering hydrogen project.
