CO₂ recovery and reliable long-term operation in the brewery
Application | CO2 recovery
Country | Germany
Challenge
For CO₂ recovery in breweries, stable and reliable operation over many years is crucial. At the same time, the system must maintain consistent performance even when the CO₂ is saturated with water vapour.
Solution
A two-stage reciprocating compressor compresses the CO₂ and ensures continuous recovery during the production process.
Regular maintenance and tailored service packages ensure the long-term operational reliability of the system.
Implementation in Germany
A TZW 50 series piston compressor was installed for CO₂ compression at a monastery brewery in Upper Bavaria. Since commissioning, the system has reliably supported the brewing process and is firmly integrated into production.
To maintain performance in the long term, the compressor is serviced regularly. This ensures stable operation and allows the system to function reliably for many years.
Results
- Reliable CO₂ recovery in continuous operation
- High system availability over many years
- Stable performance even under demanding gas conditions
- Safe operation through regular maintenance
