For many years, the joint cooking event at the Ronald McDonald House has been an integral part of Mehrer's social commitment. The aim is to give affected parents and relatives a few hours of carefree evening entertainment – a moment of respite in a challenging time.

The origin of this initiative lies in a personal experience: the family of a former colleague received valuable support at the Ronald McDonald House. This gave rise to the desire to give something back. Since then, it has become a tradition for members of our management team to cook for the families on site.

This year, the evening was once again organised jointly. The management team prepared a warm three-course meal, which was served as a communal dinner to the relatives of the sick children.

The conversations, gratitude and visible joy of the families made the evening a special experience for everyone involved.

This commitment demonstrates what Mehrer stands for: taking responsibility, supporting people and doing good together.
