On Wednesday, 3 November, the long-awaited annual trainee excursion took place, which is traditionally organised independently by our trainees. The day began with a visit to Burkhardt + Weber, a mechanical engineering company in Reutlingen. During a comprehensive presentation and a tour of the company, the trainees were given interesting insights into the company and its production processes.

After this informative tour, the group headed to Rottenburg a. N. for lunch, where they fortified themselves with hearty burgers and generous portions of chips.

Well-fuelled, the trainees started the second part of the excursion: an exciting bowling tournament. The bowling evening was a lot of fun and good humour. With the 18 participants divided into three lanes, everyone was the winner of the evening.

Exhausted, but full of positive impressions, the group finally made their way home to Balingen and were able to enjoy a well-earned rest after an eventful day.
