Farewell after more than five decades

As part of this year’s summer party, Mehrer bid farewell to a long-serving employee who had been with the company for many decades and had made a lasting impact on the service department in particular: Armin Keller.

His career at Mehrer began on 1 September 1975 with an apprenticeship as a mechanic. After his first few years in production, his military service and a period working elsewhere, he returned to Mehrer in April 1989.

In the years that followed, Armin Keller took on various roles in assembly and after-sales service. From 1997, he worked as a senior technician in the assembly of oil-lubricated screw compressors. He later moved to after-sales service and became a key figure in service and service sales.

With his extensive specialist knowledge, many years of experience and strong focus on finding solutions, Armin Keller has been a valued point of contact for customers and colleagues alike for many years. He also contributed his experience to the development of product training programmes and the further development of the Mehrer Service Academy, passing on his knowledge to numerous customers and colleagues.

He was particularly noted for his personal commitment and his ability to find suitable solutions even for challenging tasks. In doing so, he made a significant contribution to the further development of the service division and to the reliable support of our customers.

As he left the company, the management and the entire workforce thanked him for his loyalty, his dedication and his long-standing commitment to the company.

We wish Armin Keller all the best for this new chapter in his life, good health and many happy moments in retirement.
