Compression of synthesis gas for the production of synthetic fuels
Application | Compression of synthesis gas for catalytic converter
Country | Germany
Challenge
When converting synthesis gas into synthetic fuels, stable pressure conditions are crucial for an efficient process. At the same time, the gas composition and operating conditions place high demands on the compression technology.
Solution
An oil-free reciprocating compressor handles the compression of the synthesis gas and ensures constant process conditions.
The design is specifically tailored to the plant’s requirements and enables reliable integration into the production process.
Implementation in Germany
In a modular plant for the production of synthetic fuels, synthesis gas is specifically compressed to optimally support the subsequent process steps.
The compressor used increases the pressure to up to 26 bar, thereby contributing significantly to the stability and efficiency of the entire plant.
Results
- Stable process conditions for syngas processing
- Reliable integration into modular plant concepts
- Oil-free compression for high gas quality
- Efficient operation in fuel production
