Hydrogen refuelling of the SSB bus fleet
Application | Compression of supplied hydrogen for H(deep:2) bus fleet
Country | Germany

With the project of a hydrogen refuelling system, the Stuttgart-based company has realised its own H2 refuelling station together with a tank system manufacturer. The plant manufacturer chose Mehrer Compression GmbH as its partner and opted for its compressors, which are a convincing core component in the refuelling system due to their high reliability and availability.
For refuelling, the hydrogen delivered by tube trailer must first be compressed in order to achieve a high refuelling speed. The MRE 1300 diaphragm compressor compresses the hydrogen to 480 bar and makes it available in storage banks for refuelling, guaranteeing an efficient and smooth process.
